Not a "solutions" manual, more of a corrections manual

This claims to be a COMPLETE solutions manual. It is NOT. I was expecting this book to show the steps for each equation in the book. This is very much not the case. We are half way through the book and I would guess only 5% of the problems have shown steps to solving the equations. The title is VERY misleading. I am one disappointed customer. The benefit I see to owning this manual is that it gives the answers for all of the problems (odd and even). It keeps one from having to flip from the back of the book to the front when checking answers or looking for help. This is why I gave it 3 stars.

Convenient

This solutions manual goes along with Dr. Callahan's syllabus. It is convenient and easier to use than the teacher's manual that goes with the textbook. However, it would be helpful for it to include the step by step process of getting the answers, or to include some better explanations. I really love Dr. Callahan's products, syllabi, and course dvd's for homeschoolers, but I have to agree that for the price, this book needs to include the solution process...otherwise, we're just buying a more convenient answer key with a fairly high price tag.

Answers, worked out

I don't know where I read that this just had the answers, not the worked-out problems, but it's not true. This book was a life-saver time-wise for grading, but also on the problems where my son & I were just stuck. Don't skip it!
