A Very Helpful Book...

If you are required to do any type of RCFA or reliability work on your plant's equipment, then this book will be very useful for you. It is loaded with plenty of helpful example photo's, diagrams and information that will aid you greatly in this work.
I was privileged to attend a class taught by the book's author, and found him to be a wealth of practical information that I could put to use in my mill. His book reflects this.

Very good technical reference

Neville provides a great deal of practical information and real investigation case studies in his book. The reader will gain an increased level of confidence analyzing the evidence following an equipment failure to recognize the energy sources causing the damage. I recommend the courses Neville teaches on the failure scene investigation topics as well as having this book on your shelf as a reference.
